Terms of use
My Flight Money is a Forge-co, operated by 1001590704 Ontario Inc., 3520 Ketelbey Crt., Burlington ON L7M 3B4, Canada. Contact: support@forge-co.ca.
1. The service
My Flight Money offers a free eligibility checker, rules explanations, a free first-claim letter, a claim tracker (the claim dashboard), and the paid letters for the claim dashboard, sold as the My Flight Money claim kit. All content is self-help information and templates, not legal advice. When you use these tools, you choose what to send and you send it yourself, in your own name. We do not represent you, take an assignment of your claim, or collect payments from airlines.
2. No promised outcome
We work to keep content accurate and dated, but we cannot promise that any claim will succeed or that any airline will pay. The checker's result depends on the information you provide.
3. My Flight Money claim kit (the paid letters)
The My Flight Money claim kit is a one-time purchase priced in US dollars. It is sold through Stripe Managed Payments: Stripe, through Link, is the merchant of record, calculates and collects any VAT, GST or sales tax, and shows you the final price, which may be in your local currency, before you pay. Your receipt comes from Link. The dashboard is digital content that runs in your browser. It stores your claims only in your browser, so we cannot recover them if you clear your browser data; use its export button to keep a copy. Checkout is live, so paying is a real purchase. The price is $29 one-time, plus sales tax where applicable. Tracking claims and deadlines in the dashboard, and its first-claim letter, are free; the follow-up, refusal-reply and escalation letters come with the purchase. After payment, Stripe returns you to the dashboard, which asks our server to check with Stripe that the checkout was paid. Once Stripe confirms it, the letters unlock in that browser, which keeps a purchase marker in its local storage. Your Link receipt is your proof of purchase. Bookmark the dashboard page Stripe returns you to, to unlock another browser, or email us with your receipt.
Your 14-day right to withdraw
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a contract made online. For digital content not supplied on a physical medium, that right ends once supply begins (when your access to the dashboard starts), but only if you have:
- given your express consent to access starting during the 14-day period, and
- acknowledged that you will lose your right to withdraw.
At checkout we will ask you to tick a box stating: "I want access to the My Flight Money claim dashboard immediately. I understand that once access begins I lose my 14-day right to withdraw." The checkout link only opens once the box is ticked, and your receipt confirms the purchase. If you would rather keep your withdrawal right, do not tick the box and email support@forge-co.ca instead; we will give you access after the 14-day period.
Refunds
This does not affect your statutory rights if the dashboard is faulty or not as described. Contact support@forge-co.ca; refunds are paid through Link to your original payment method.
4. Optional done-for-you service (not available yet)
We plan to offer an optional service in which we would submit, chase and follow up a claim for you, for a percentage of the compensation recovered. It is not available yet and the fee is to be decided (shown as TBD). You can join the waitlist inside a claim in the dashboard ("Prefer we handle it?"); joining it does not sign you up for the service. If we launch it, it will have its own terms, which you would have to accept before we act for you. The free tools and the dashboard stay available on their own, and these terms do not change if you never use the service.
5. Acceptable use
Use the dashboard and its letters for your own claims or to help family and friends. Do not resell them.
6. Independence and trademarks
We are not affiliated with any airline. Airline names identify their claim processes only.
7. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date below shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If you are a consumer living in the UK or the EU, this choice of law does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence (Rome I Regulation Art 6(2)).
